I.C.E. Industries, founded in 1984, has been a leader in the colored gemstone trade for over 23 years. Having started as a hobby in the early ‘80s, it soon evolved into a business in ’84, marketing rough gem minerals, cut gemstones, beads, gem carvings, and fine jewelry, wholesale to the trade.

We are a full service lapidary located here in the U.S., however our primary operations are now run from our Hong Kong office, and corresponding mainland China cutting facilities.

We also work closely with key world sources of many African gems, due to our working closely with our Idar Oberstein, German agent.

We specialize in many natural, mined gemstone materials, as well as many cutting edge “luxury synthetic” gemstones. These later materials include a variety of spectacular Laboratory Created Opals, Synthetic Diamonds, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Alexandrite, Star Sapphire, Star Ruby, Garnets, and many new cutting edge synthetic materials!

In 1984, we introduced the “Gilson” Laboratory Created Opals here in the U.S.A. After working with Dr. Pierre Gilson for almost 10 years, subsequently, in January ‘84 while in Bangkok and Hong Kong, we introducing to the world market the much more affordable “Imperial” Opals by Kyocera Corp. (in some 25+ popular colors),

All Created Opal materials are guaranteed 100% stable (unlike many mined opals), and all display outstanding, bright, multi-colored “play of colors” throughout!!!

Popular mined gemstone “rough” includes NEW 22kt. Glacier Golden Quartz slabs, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Turquoise (Stabilized), Lapis Lazuli, and Black Onyx (slabs), to mention only a few. Another popular item is our Italian Red Coral (branches), and M.O.P. Shell (in a variety of colors).

Popular “faceted gemstones and beads” include Amethyst, Citrine, Blue Topaz, Black Onyx, Rock Crystal and Rose Quartz. However, we also often also stock many RARE, exotic gemstones such as Tourmaline, Spinel, Tsavorite, Tanzanite, Fancy Sapphire, Zircon and Garnet materials. (And many popular gemstone carvings)!
